Though a part of UCSD,
San Diego Dialogue is entirely self-funded. San Diego
Dialogue's research and public education activities
are funded by a combination of foundation (45 percent),
corporate (35 percent) and government (5 percent) grants,
as well as revenues generated from public events and
our corporate and individual affiliate programs (15
percent). The FY 2001 budget is about $1.4 million.
